Spend time interacting with students, staff and community members at the Mungere School, a successful development education project in Mungere Village, an East African tribal community. Embark on your African safari adventure after breakfast by driving south toward Tarangire National Park. Second only to Serengeti, this famous park has the greatest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania. Embark on your African safari adventure after breakfast by heading into Lake Manyara National Park. At the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the scenery is as stunning as the exotic wildlife, including the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. Plentiful herds of elephants, water buffalo, giraffe, zebra are found around this lake, covering 89 square miles. With over 10,000 in number, Tanzania boasts more bird species than any other country in Africa, including flamingos, pelicans, vultures, and various cranes.

Pick up from your lodge after breakfast and drive through the Conservation Area, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, a geological marvel boasting several vegetation zones from lakes to forest to savannah. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it is home to both semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists and 30,000 fauna, having coexisted for centuries despite the crater's tiny size. Spend your days traversing the diverse crater landscape in search of the Big 5, including the rare black rhino and elusive leopard.

After enjoying breakfast overlooking the magnificent crater, then continue game driving for the day toward the heart of Tanzania's bush outback, the plains of the Serengeti.

After breakfast, spend the morning on a final game drive through the Serengeti before boarding your chartered flight from the Seronera Airstrip to Zanzibar Airport for the tropical island portion of your African adventure.

Upon arrival to Zanzibar Airport, take private transport to your hotel in the heart of Stone Town. Spend the afternoon and evening exploring the island's rich history on a hired or self-guided tour.

Enjoy breakfast and a relaxing morning at your hotel, opting for further exploration of the port city. Private transport will then take you north to your waterfront hotel in famous Nungwi.
