Great Adventure! That is the only way to describe my experience in Africa with Red Rhino Tours. From the start to the finish, this group was superb. I had the most fun of all trips I have ever had. I have been from Alaska to Viet Nam and without reservation I can say this topped all my experiences. The guides were knowledgeable, the support great and the people superb. At one park I damaged one of my lenses and Red Rhino's people bent over backwards to help me find what I needed to fix the lens. I could not more highly recommend this outfit.

"Red Rhino arranged 2 wonderful safaris for us in 2001. They catered to our tight schedules, individual interests, and limited budgets with grace and cordiality. Red Rhino showed us urban and rural life without risking our physical or gastrointestinal safety, and recruited a charming ornithological expert from the National Museum to guide us. Sure, we saw the Big 5 and got plenty of pictures, but we also marveled at our cook's wicked wit and market savvy, shared political discussions with our driver and visited his daughter's hotely, and argued about bird species identification in sign language with Masai herders. It was important that they made us feel safe and comfortable in a very foreign country! Greg Traverso even contacted us immediately upon our return to make sure our trip had been everything we had expected it to be. The RedRhino tour that I participated in last summer was excellent in all respects. It was an experience of a lifetime, and I'm so glad that I participated in the program with Greg Traverso. I've often described him as "the nicest person in the world". Beyond that he is sensitive, thoughtful, intelligent, thorough, well organized, flexible and lots of fun! Greg has high expectations of the people he hires to work with him, and they all live up to those standards. We had many opportunities to interact with native Africans-an activity which I sought and welcomed. I have a great deal of independent travel experience and have traveled with small groups as well. I highly recommend Red Rhino and would not hesitate to travel again with them. The trip was an outstanding value for the cost and for the experiences it offered.
