HOW TO BOOK RESERVATIONS: A 25% deposit will reserve a place for you. The final payment will be due 45 days prior to departure. The Registration Form and Terms and Conditions Contract must accompany the deposit and be signed by all parties (parents/guardians must sign for all minors). If deposit or final payment is not received when due, Red Rhino Tours may be forced to release your space to other interested parties. As soon as we receive your deposit, you will be mailed a confirmation letter serving as receipt of payment, and our Trip Preparation Packet.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: If you must cancel, the following refund policy applies:
TRIP FEES: Fees are per person, based on double occupancy for all accommodations unless otherwise indicated in itinerary. Single accommodations have a supplement surcharge, are subject to availability, and due before departure with final payment.
TRIP FEE INCLUDES:
TRIP FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE: All international airline tickets, costs of layovers en route to Africa including hotel, transportation, and food costs; meals off of safari unless otherwise indicated, tipping of guides, personal taxi rides and other individual means of transportation, passport/visa fees, insurance of any kind, excess baggage charges, airport departure taxes, medical costs of any kind, immunizations, malaria pills, costs if hospitalization or evacuation occurs, snacks and beverages, laundry charges, and items of personal nature. Please see your individual itinerary plan for additional things that are not included.
MEDICAL AND HEALTH RESPONSIBILITIES OF TOUR MEMBER: It is essential that you inform Red Rhino Tours of any medical problems you might have. Red Rhino Tours retains the right to disqualify anyone before or during the tour if we feel the tour member is physically incapable and/or if a tour member's continued participation will jeopardize the individual involved or others in the group. No refund will be given to a group member who is asked to leave the tour or decides to leave the tour because of health reasons. Red Rhino Tours assumes no liability regarding the health of our tour members. It is the responsibility of the tour member to obtain all required inoculations in due time and to obtain appropriate Traveler's Health Insurance before departing for the trip.
LOSSES AND ADDITIONAL EXPENSE RESPONSIBILITIES: Red Rhino Tours does not accept any liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect of vehicle, act of war, insurrection, revolt or other civil uprising, other military action, strikes, or acts of God, occurring in either the country of origin, destination or through passage, or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts or default of any company or persons engaged in arrangements of the tour. We cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air schedules or other causes. All such losses or expenses will be the responsibility of the member of the tour or, if the member is a minor, to his/her parent or legal guardian. Red Rhino Tours may not be held responsible for any loss or damage to luggage, before, during, or after the tour program. Red Rhino Tours is not responsible for any personal items lost/stolen before, during, and/or after the tour.
TOUR CANCELLATION AND ALTERATION OF ITINERARY AGREEMENT: Please understand that the right is reserved for Red Rhino Tours to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including logistical problems (e.g., acts of God, forces of nature, war, strikes, etc.) that may impede trip operations. The refund of all payments received shall release Red Rhino Tours from any further liability. We strongly recommend "Trip Cancellation," "Lost Baggage," and "Trip Interruption" Insurance. Red Rhino Tours is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip (e.g., nonrefundable advance-purchase air tickets, equipment, costs of visas, etc.). Also understand that the right is reserved for the group leaders of Red Rhino Tours to make adjustments to the itinerary, as they deem necessary, for the success of the tour at large. Adjustments might include changing a given destination in favor of another, transportation modifications, and other such adjustments to the itinerary.
DISCLOSURE NOTICE: I am aware that during my participation in the tour, certain risks and dangers to my health and even life may arise which may be caused by, but not limited to, the following factors: travel by automobile, aircraft, boat, train, bus/mini-bus/shuttle, or other means of conveyance; the forces of nature, including wild animals; accident or illness in remote regions without means to rapidly evacuate or reach medical facilities, or inadequacy of medical attention once provided; the hazards of traveling in an underdeveloped area of the world; political unrest; acts of God, physical exertion for which I am not prepared; the negligent (but not fraudulent) conduct of Red Rhino Tours’ guides, other employees, and owners. Additionally, I am aware that Red Rhino Tours will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or adequacy of any care that may have to be rendered. It is understood that the staff of Red Rhino Tours will use their best efforts to ensure that all adequate measures are taken to avoid such occurrences.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: As lawful consideration for the agreement with Red Rhino Tours, to participate in such trips and activity that I will undertake, I agree that I will not make a claim against Red Rhino Tours, its owners, or its employees acting as guides, or sue for bodily injury, emotional trauma, death, property damage, however caused, as a result of my participation in the Tour. This release of Liability agreement is entered into behalf of all members of my family including minors accompanying me. This agreement is binding to my heirs, my legal representatives and my assigns. If any portion of this agreement is unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the performance there under, including without limitation any claim related to illness, injury or death, shall be settled by binding arbitration in San Joaquin County, California, USA in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then existing, and judgment on the arbitration does not waive or modify the liability release contained in this agreement. Red Rhino Tours reserves the right to decline to accept--or retain from further participation--any person it judges to be incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in the activities, or any person whose actions or deportment impede trip operation or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other trip members. A refund based on the cost of unused land services is the limit of the responsibilities of Red Rhino Tours. There are no refunds for unused portions of the program should the group member decide to leave the tour for whatever reason. Red Rhino Tours or its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodation, default of third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond its control. I have read the Terms and Conditions Contract in its entirety and understand these terms and conditions fully. I have cautiously read over the booking conditions and have noted the policy regarding refunds, cancellations, health concerns, potential changes to the itinerary due to unforeseeable events, inherent difficulties of travel in the developing world and the risks involved, and the overall responsibilities of myself and the tour company. Parents/Guardians must sign a form for each minor participating in the tour.
